Le riprese immersive di Geomondo permettono di visitare un luogo mediante fotografie a 360 gradi, collegate in forma dinamica. Vengono realizzate da troupes specializzate grazie ad una tecnologia brevettata e impiegata in Italia già un anno prima dello Street View di Google: un sistema innovativo utilizzato per mappare oltre 13.500 km di strade in 180 città italiane.

La veduta da strada, scelta da Street View di Google, non è sufficiente per una fruizione turistica del territorio.
Per godere un’area turistica occorre uscire dall’auto e muoversi a piedi nei centri storici, nei sentieri naturalisti, nelle spiagge e all’interno degli edifici storici, motivazioni forti che hanno indotto Geomondo ad implementare ed utilizzare il kit pedonale, ideato e realizzato partendo dal know-how consolidato negli anni precedenti.
L'unicità del sistema di ripresa consente la visualizzazione e valorizzazione anche di interni quali centri commerciali e di divertimento, con la possibilità di mostrare online negozi, aree comuni, di svago, cinema multisala e tutto quello che il settore può offrire.
Geomondo, in collaborazione con il Comune di Venezia, approda sulla piattaforma Venice Connected con la prima mappatura Street Level al mondo della città di Venezia.
